We recommend all solid fuel stoves be fitted by a qualified engineer certified under the competent persons scheme by either APHC, NICEIC or HETAS. We can fit in most parts of the UK either from our base in Harrogate covering all of Yorkshire, or via our franchised branches in Brighton, Bristol or West London - Further information can be found at: &

We strongly recommend that you do not book a date for fitting until the item has been delivered.

Yorkshire Chimney Supplies cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to courier issues e.g. traffic /industrial action, etc. Whilst we take every action to ensure your goods arrive on time, Yorkshire Chimney Supplies cannot be held responsible for any consequential costs whether through late or non-delivery, incorrect goods delivered or damaged deliveries.

We ask all of our customers NOT to book any installers, or other related trade persons, until your delivery has arrived safely with you and has been checked as correct and in good condition.

Yorkshire Chimney Supplies Delivery

We aim to ensure delivery of all in stock items within 3-5 working days however some items may take 7-14 days, you will be contacted with the lead time in this case. For products that are not in stock all quoted delivery times are based on information from our suppliers and thus may be subject to change, we will advise you in this situation. On some specialist stoves and flue products that are made to order lead times for delivery can be up to 4 weeks. Where there is high demand (Sept 1st to March 31st) this may be extended further. Please call 01423 88 88 95 to discuss delivery time frames. Free standard delivery is available for the majority of orders over £150 to mainland UK. Additional delivery charges apply for orders to UK offshore islands and Highlands of Scotland. Purchases under £150 incur our standard delivery fees.

If there is likely to be a problem with access for a large 7.5 tonne lorry, please contact us in advance of placing your order. Examples of areas that we cannot deliver palletised orders to would be long gravelled drives, areas inside walled cities with height restrictions from all directions and narrow lanes. We will do everything we can to make alternative delivery arrangements if you contact us in advance.

If the carriers are unable to deliver to you, they will charge us for the failed delivery and the return of the product. If you have not told us of any potential problems you will be liable for these charges.

If you cancel an order after we have started to ship it, there will be a shipping charge to return it to our warehouse, even if the products have not reached your address.

The carriers will normally contact you a day or two before delivering, to arrange a suitable delivery date and time. The carriers will only deliver the goods to the nearest entrance to your property; due to insurance and health and safety issues they will not be able to bring the goods inside unless we are carrying out fitting.

Deliveries are normally contracted to a 3rd party, orders under 35 kg are normally delivered by parcel courier, while stoves and large bulky consignments will be delivered by pallet hauliers.

Please ensure that there will be someone at the delivery address on the day scheduled for delivery. The driver will move the goods to the nearest accessible wheel point depending on access. Unfortunately due to insurance and health and safety issues the driver is not permitted to move the goods inside your property but can wheel into a garage. (It might also be useful to have another person inadtion to yourself and the driver to lend a hand.)

Please do not sign for or accept any goods until unpacked and checked in full. The driver is obliged to wait with for up to 10 minutes, (for palletised goods only) whilst you unpack and check the goods. If the driver refuses to wait then please mark the goods as damaged on the delivery note, so you are covered for all eventualities. Only sign if you are satisfied with the condition of your purchase (bear in mind you are doing so at your own risk if damage is subsequently found). Items which have been signed for are deemed to be complete and in good condition, we ask you to thoroughly check all goods and report any damaged or missing items to us within 24 hours of receipt. After this time period 3rd party couriers will seldom accept claims for damage in transit or missing items. If goods are damaged we will require as many detailed photographs of the damage, including damage to the packaging, as possible. The packaging should also be retained.

Once you have accepted the goods, our transaction is complete and title of the goods has passed to you.
